Calculations; A laptop was chosen for the illustration due to the popularity and use with school age children. The working distance was set at 15 inches from the child’s eyes. Binocular vision and fusion are assumed. The eye rotation before head-turn through the myopia control lenses was calculated through a 9mm aperture on the front surface of the myopia control lens worn by the child. Such a calculation takes into consideration the distance from the front aperture / central zone of the myopia control lens worn by the child to the pupillary plane of the child’s eyes.
